Entrepreneurship is alive and well in the Bay Area thanks to Pacific Community Ventures efforts and those of similar organizations serving disadvantaged communities.
Please join us on June 6, 2012 when Pacific Community Ventures will host its Annual Fundraiser & Marketplace. More than 40 local, exciting small businesses will exhibit their wares in a vibrant marketplace. Come celebrate and toast the Bay Area’s small businesses, the entrepreneurs who build them, and the jobs they create.
The luncheon will feature LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner and will also recognize Pacific Community Ventures’ network of volunteer advisors, businesses and community leaders who provide executive-level business advice each year to nearly 200 small companies that provide jobs for residents of lower income communities.
The Annual Fundraiser and Marketplace will be held from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center located at 1675 Owens Street in San Francisco. To register click this link or call 415.442.4300.
Pacific Community Ventures creates jobs and economic opportunity in low income communities through the direct support of small businesses as well as by advocating for systemic change to increase investment in these vulnerable communities.
