Green Tree Capital was founded in 1985 in North Hollywood, California to fill an under-served niche - providing professional financial advisory services to owners of privately owned “middle market” companies.

Our primary goal is to be responsive business advisors, serving the special needs of principals of privately owned "middle market" companies.  Clients receive professional expertise and service similar to that provided public companies by Wall Street investment bankers.

Selling a business, buying a business or obtaining adequate financing for a privately owned  business is a very complex and time consuming process.  The market is extremely inefficient and requires skilled professional advisors to achieve the best results.  Green Tree Capital's highly experienced business professionals have demonstrated expertise in helping clients obtain the results they seek.

The firm's typical client is a privately owned company whose owners have decided to sell their company, are seeking to grow their company via acquisitions or need financing to expand their companies.  Our clients have had sales/revenues ranging from $3.5 million to $125 million. Transaction values have ranged from $2 million to $30 million with the preponderance occurring in the $7 million to $17 million range.
