Selling a business, buying a business or obtaining business financing for a privately owned company is a very complex and time consuming process.
For 20 years, Green Tree Capital has provided financial advisory services to meet the special needs of privately owned “middle market” companies. We specialize in providing advice on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and business financings.
Green Tree Capital has acted as financial advisor in numerous mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financings. The resulting transactions have spanned a diverse range of products, services, industries, geographic locations and sales/revenues levels.
|
Our corporate clients have sales/revenues in excess of $7.5 million.
Green Tree Capital provides the following financial advisory services:
- Arranging the sale of privately owned "middle market" companies
- Conducting acquisition searches for corporate buyers and private equity firms
- Arranging financing via private placements with institutional investors
The principal types of business financing include: revolving lines of credit, term loans, commercial finance (often referred to as asset based lending), subordinated debt (often referred to as mezzanine financing), convertible debt, preferred stock, common stock and warrants.

Business valuation, while an integral part of mergers and acquisitions, is not a separate service our firm provides. In situations where a formal independent business valuation is required, we will refer you to one or more of the many fine business valuations firms.
Transactions valued at $3 million or less are generally handled by business brokers. On very rare occasions Green Tree Capital may accept such an engagement from one of its referral sources. However, more often than not we will refer you to a business broker or a business brokerage firm.
